Shiksha Saptah 2024 @ Cambrian Public School

The innovative initiative taken up by the Ministry of Education, Government of India, in the form of `Shiksha Saptah`, started with a blast at Cambrian Public School, Kanke Road, Ranchi.

Monday, 22nd of July 2024 was observed as TLM Day at CPS, Ranchi. All the classes from Pre-Nursery to XII actively and enthusiastically participated to make this a successful event.

A TLM Fair & Exhibition was organized at the school to showcase and demonstrate various Art & Craft, play and learning materials, which may be used in the teaching-learning process either at school or at home. Parents and students experienced a whole new world of learning.

There were various stalls set up as per the following themes:

Wall Charts - `Display & Demonstrate`

Posters – `What do the Posters Say…`

3 D Models – `The 3D World`

Puppets & Toys – `Play & Learn`

Games & Puzzles – `Joyful Learning`

Board Games – `The Mind Gamers`

Story – `The Story Time`

Subject wise stalls – `An Integrated View`

A Seminar was held for the parents - focusing on effective utilization of Teaching-Learning Material for the learning process, even at home.

A Workshop was conducted for the teachers - to enhance their skills of creation of Teaching-Learning material and to be able to use them effectively in classroom teachings to make the whole teaching-learning process and interesting journey for both the teacher as well as the learner.

Classroom Demonstrations were conducted by the subject teachers in classes of all groups – students were motivated to become resourceful in creation of creative and innovative TLMs, to enhance their understanding of the concepts.

Under the able guidance of the Principal, Dr. Neeta Pandey, the school could put up a successful show which was highly appreciated by all the visitors. She appreciated the efforts of all the students, parents, teachers and other staff members who worked hand-in-hand to create a creative presentation. She added that Teaching-Learning Materials are a part of Experiential Learning, through which we make learning interesting & long-lasting to prepare well-skilled and well-equipped future generation.
