Cambrian Public School Student Rounak Mahapatra Wins National Scholarship

Rounak Mahapatra, Class IV student of Cambrian Public School, Kanke Road, has been selected among the Top 25 National Merit Scholars in the Kalakriti Mahotsav–2026 National Art Competition. He will receive a ₹34,891 scholarship from the Ministry of Culture, Govt. of India.
Rounak earned this recognition for his Mandala Art of Lord Jagannath. The scholarship aims to promote young talent and preserve India’s artistic heritage.
Director-cum-Principal Mrs. Paramjit Kaur called it a matter of immense pride for the school and state. She said the school is nurturing students in art and culture in line with the National Education Policy. She also congratulated Rounaks mother, Prof. Dr. Mansi Roy Mahapatra.
