Cambrian Public School, Kanke Road, Ranchi, recently (on 06.08.2024)  played host to an inspiring tree plantation drive organized in association with `Prabhat Khabar`. This green initiative aimed to achieve a target of plantation of one lakh plants under Prabhat Khabar`s `नया पौधा नया जीवन अभियान` to promote environmental awareness and contribute to a sustainable future.

The event saw enthusiastic participation from students, teachers, and Prabhat Khabar members. With the guidance of environmental experts, participants planted a variety of native trees around the school premises and together took an `Oath` to plant and nurture new plants. This effort not only beautifies the school environment but also helps combat climate change and supports local biodiversity.

On this occasion, Principal, Dr. Neeta Pandey also joined hands with the students in planting new plants and said that the drive was a significant step in fostering a sense of responsibility towards the environment among students and the community, underlining the importance of taking collective action for a greener planet.
