Description <p><b>National Sports Day </b>was celebrated on 29.8.2022 to celebrate the birthday of <b>Major Dhyanchand.</b></p><p>To pay tribute to this legend, the students of Cambrian Public School, Kanke Road, Ranchi organised a Special Assembly on this day.</p><p>Following the theme of National Sports day  <b>Meet the Champion</b>, the assembly started with the offering of flowers to Major Dhyanchand and a motivational speech on his life and achievements. It was followed by a motivational song, skit, Yoga, Karate and Aerobics. </p><p><b>Sports Quiz </b>was the highlight of the day where Godavri house bagged the first prize, Sutlej house stood in the second position followed by Ganga house at the third and Yamuna house at the fourth position.</p><p>Vice- Principal <b>Mr. U. K. Nayak</b> encouraged the students to participate in sports and threw light on the importance of sports in our lives.</p>
